2009-2010 Priorities
After a review of the Survey and a gap analysis between the Ontario Curriculum (and the impact of the SQC) and the suite of currently Ministry licensed software, OSAPAC is recommending that the Ministry set the 2009-2010 software priorities as follows:
- Gizmos: Math 7 to 12 - French Translation (Online Delivery)
- Streaming Video Grades K – 12 (Online Delivery)
- Audio On-Demand Grades K – 12 (Online Delivery)
- Multimedia Authoring: 4 to 8 (DVD/CD or Online Delivery)
- French Grammar/Writing Reference Tool Grades 4 to 12 (DVD/CD)
- Writing Process (Online Delivery)
- Stop Motion Animation (Mac/Windows) Grades 4 to 8 (DVD/CD or (Online Delivery)
- French Elementary Encyclopedia Grades 3 - 8 (Online Delivery)
- Digital Citizenship & Online Safety (Online Delivery)
Upgrades to be determined later in the year as Vista issues are identified with currently licensed and implemented software titles
These priorities are consistent with the Ministry of Education's curriculum directions and are subject to Ministry approval.
