Students work in groups of 3 to make a story that has a beginning, middle and end. Each student creates a picture in KidPix that matches their part of the story and writes text on this picture. They record their voice reading their part of the story. The pictures along with a title page and author page are put together into a slide show and presented to the class. The slide shows can be saved in a shared location so that other students can access their “friendly” stories. This makes a great presentation for Meet the Teacher Night.

In this project, the class produces a slide show of student self-portraits. Each student will produce a picture of themselves drawn in KidPix, a descriptive sentence written by the student and typed onto their picture and a voice recording of the student reading their descriptive sentence. The finished pictures will be combined to create the class slide show. The class will work together to include a title page and an About the Authors page to be included in the slide show.
