'This activity is designed to introduce a math class to the use of E-STAT’s rich CANSIM database with Fathom! This activity provides an example of how different time series from more than 2,800 large multi-dimensional tables on CANSIM can be combined to analyze possible relationships between the data sets. Any of the more than 41 million CANSIM time series from more than 150 different surveys can be brought together to explore possible relationships, as long as the time frames for the data overlap.'
